Medifast Fruit & Nut Crunch Bar

I just tried this bar for the first time yesterday after doing a little trade with someone I work with. It’s not the type of bar that I thought I would like, so I never bothered to add it to any of my Medifast orders. Surprisingly, I ended up really liking it. It’s not my top favorite like the Medifast Caramel Crunch, but it is something that I can see ordering in the future.
When I went to take my first bite, I got a hint of that fake sweetener taste and started to think this wouldn’t be the bar for me. Once I bit into it, though, the taste didn’t seem artificial. The bar overall is sweet, but the cranberries add a hint of tartness and the almonds add a slight crunch. The bar was really good and seemed to be the right combo of flavors for a breakfast bar. The obvious downside is that Medifast has the most expensive bars of any I review. I still use Medifast in my diet due to their food being enriched with vitamins and minerals as well as having low calories and sugar, but $18.75 for a box of 7 hurts the wallet!
